I started my legal career representing children in foster care through the family court process. I then worked at the City Attorney’s Office as a prosecutor for two years before accepting a position as a deputy public defender. During my five years at the Washoe County Public Defender’s Office, I zealously advocated for the accused through the pretrial, trial, and sentencing process. I  gained invaluable trial experience.

I’ve taken my passion for defense work with me to my private practice where I continue working with the accused, victims of crime, parents of children in foster care, and children accused of delinquent acts. As a sole practitioner, I’ve additionally represented individuals in civil matters.

I was born and raised in Reno, Nevada. My husband and I have three beautiful, rambunctious children. In our free time, we enjoy skiing, biking, horseback riding, and playing outside. I’m a proud Northern Nevadan excited to continue giving back to the community in which I grew up.
